    Hello back!

I agree that the design is clean and bare.

I don’t the stuff on sidebar to the right, but then I’m a stranger to blogs.

Names in prehistory? Since they weren’t written, how’s anyone to know? Omar’s good, except for the Sharif generation like me. What about Khayan? Hannah sounds a bit teenage girl-ish. Howabout Ugg? The letter Zed is unusual – how about Zedd? Or Zeda?

These mainline publishers, what can you do with ’em?

I totally agree with you GA. I have decided Omar is out and so is Hannah. I have a Middle Eastern expert helping me. I know prehistory names could be anything but not if it jars. And now I’m off for a jar…

    Thanks GA

Geoff you’re story is coming along nicely and I suspect that your brain loves to bifurcate, as in plots within and plots without, and plots plotting plots. Way to go. Instead of deleting this or that, keep it in. Some if not most established writers have one or two `heroes’ doing it all which makes me side with the `baddies’, and what I do, when I get stuck is start another `story/plot line’ and weave that into the main super plot. Then later do the slash and burn to get rid of the crap I wrote and hopefully will get there-one day.
PS. The net’s got some great sites, such as this and the last one, at Seattle about the global warming thingo. I always knew I was an alien, just a bit thick to realise it-as humans are WEIRD. Who needs to look for aliens out there when they’re here. I’m one of them, just had my memory wiped by my `lot’ out there, wonder what I did to deserve living here. Nice planet though, even some decent sentients around……

Cheers Lutz. Yes the Exit story is whipping along at breakneck speed – about one foot a day – hah! With expert help from Middle East residents, I settled on two names that are rare Oqmar and Hanra. But I changed their birthdays to only 130,000 years ago to be a sliver more credible.

I hope life as an Oz publisher is rosy for you?

ha! rosy! mate, the net is stuffed full of well, `publishers’. there are thousands just here alone-and that ain’t right. How can you/me/them be found when every man and his dog and cockroach claims to be a `publisher’. I get the odd sale, and odd it is, never makes it to an even number. which is a pity for the authors as I reckon they’ve got some serious good shit there, the women writers are absolutely wicked in what/how they structure their stories.
am redisigning site and adding art-work. The current one was always a `proto-type’ and managed to get two baggings so far!
One sheila reckons I’m not free to authors even though this is clearly stated, and another who saw my site wanted to `end my life’ referring to him/herself in some forum. Love it, free publicity.
But redesigning it completely, adding art work and making it `simpler’. Thought minimalism might do the trick, but, well, aparently people want glitz, glammour, bells and whistles.
So be it. should be ready in two weeks [three months ago] but never as simple as it ought to be-constructing/restructuring sites that is. Luckily authors still poping in, some even from amazon! which speaks for itself.
I had considered them but it isn’t cost effective to the reader – after all they are a business first and foremost.
got some ideas for later, and do an update everywhere when done.
As an aside: Outlook Express has locked me out of my own mail box. Won’t recognise my user name/password. So the `lutzbarz@dodo.com.au’ is defunct. Went to OE who said, not us, go to microsoft, who said not us, go to Dell, who said not us, go to your ISP who said please wait…………
other than that like you, enjoy the writing, better than watching crappy tv- except for the new Dr Who series, and Stargate and that’s about it- apart from Japanese Animie films. A recent one here was `ghost in the shell’-`stand alone complex'[very me]- and bought a great dvd: appleseed. brilliant art work, better than reality! and another more film – ish polish/japanese co-production `Avalon’. When at a loose end, see these two at least.
Apart from that not enough hours in the day, juggling a few extra’s that relate to the site, and as said, even got some prizes to give away-for those who download something.
    will spam appropriate forums.
and discovered this little gem you got running here.
So I hope your novel will get there sooner than later, my second one’s in its sixth year [but had 2 years off-got bored] and no point writing then….
so geoff, it’s over and out of the cybervoid into reality void.
    ciau for now Lutz

Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the web the simplest thing
to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they plainly don’t know
about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the
whole thing without having side effect , people could take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
